Viper's Bugloss

Today's the day ........................... to identify

We were up at the allotment today and I noticed an interesting plant that I don't remember seeing before.

I brought a bit of it home and got out the Wild Flowers of Britain & Northern Europe book to try to identify it. I'm in no way a botanist - but some of Will's expertise and enthusiasm has rubbed off on me - and I'm always interested in knowing what a wild flower might be called.

Anyway - until one of you proper botanists tell me different - I'm calling it Viper's Bugloss. How nice a name is that .............................?
