Journey to Queenstown!!

I slept ok, besides the stinky and loud Australian guy in our room.

It took a long time to get out of Wanaka this morning. We weren't leaving until 10 anyway, but we kept losing people and must have driven around the tiny town 9 times!
Luckily, Queenstown isn't far away and we only have 2 stops to fit in- one at a fruit store (where they tell you it is amazingly cheap, they lie) and another at the AJ Hackett Bungy. A couple of the girls jumped and a lot more booked to do Nevis- crazy people, I could never do a bungy.

We got to Queenstown early afternoon. Bre and I requested to share, and they put us in this weird Girls Sanctuary room.. It was painted pink, had a mirror surrounded by light bulbs and built in straighteners. I'm ashamed to admit how excited I was! Feminism falling short.
So after straightening our hair, we hit town to start getting an idea of jobs. There seems to be quite a lot, as long as your not too picky and have a bit of luck.

But then it was time to go out!! So exciting :D We had some scummy predrinks (using fake Malibu) in the room with everyone, then went to The Find followed by 1876. Both had live bands and both were packed. It was warm inside though, which is more than can be said for outside!
Bre and I left with Golum to try and find Cowboys. I didn't have much faith when he could barely walk straight and sure enough he took us to completely the worng place.. So we got a Fergburger and called it a night.
