Garbage or treasure

We have garbage "salvage" folk who seperate plastics, cans, paper etc. because people are too lazy to do it themselves. They then take their "findings" off to a recycler and get paid for their efforts. This made me think of a quote I read many years ago......

The image is deliberate with scratches and light bleeds....I think it gives it a sort of unreal feel.
