Violet's Christening

We had a lovely family day at Violet's Christening.

Violet was fantastic all day despite refusing to have a nap of longer than about 15 minutes. She enjoyed taking her Christening bracelet off numerous times and throwing it in the bushes in her Grandma's garden, squashing up and throwing the order of service in church, singing loudly during the hymns and drawing the minister looks of great suspicion as he sprinkled her head during the ceremony.

We had a nice lunch in one of the restaurant's in the village with all of Violet's aunties, uncles and cousins then went back to Grandma's house for prosecco and cakes with extended family and friends.


Credit for this photo of Violet with her parents & godparents goes to Violet's Great Uncle B, he was as surprised as us that it was a success, whether he managed to get such good shots on all the cameras that he was given remains to be seen, good job it's easy to share digital images :-)
