The River

'Join 150 dancers and singers as we journey along the Clyde celebrating the river's stories' That is what the poster was encouraging us to do.
My sister and I joined the large audience for this dancing extravaganza. It started off in the Briggait and then we had to follow the band outside and across the road to the Clyde Walkway where we enjoyed two further sessions of dance and singing .... then it was follow the dancers back to the Briggait where the final mass item was a very loud rendering of the Proclaimers 'I would walk 500 miles' .... great fun with all the children getting up to dance at the end.
