Odd one out

Burntisland Highland Games today. Apparently they are the second oldest highland games in the world, I have no idea what or where the oldest one is. Lots of highland dancing, caber tossing and hammer throwing going on surrounded by the mayhem of the fairground attractions, with the crowd swollen by the sun and too many hamburgers.

The tall, leggy blonde here seemed rather out of place among the tartan miniatures, but I suppose she must have been official as she had a clipboard. A grand day out apart from the cost of a double nougat slider and a 99 – an outrageous £5.50. I used to live for a week on that.
