At a gallery very near me....

What a treat, 'JANE BOWN, 100 portraits' is on at the Uni Gallery. I dropped in last Friday for a quick look, but it's definitely going to be a regular lunchtime haunt until I've done it justice. Amazingly, when I asked if I could take a few pictures this morning the answer was 'Of course you can, take as many as you like'.....now that makes a refreshing change! You can see many of the images online here at the Guardian website, where there's an interactive gallery of a lot of her photojournalistic work over the last half century.
