Keeping Guard!

I love this time of year, being able to have doors and windows open and enjoying the summer weather! Bertie seems to think it is his job to keep guard though and watch out for intruders!

We have a couple of hedgehogs living under our decking and Bertie is obsessed with them, when he has seen them they just roll up and he doesn't know what to do. Our neighbour was telling me the other day that we have also got badgers coming into the gardens and that they are HUGE! Our gardens are quite long and although we are on the edge of the town we are semi rural too with fields and woods just along the road so the wildlife for us is great, most nights we also have owls hooting very loudly.
