Colour burst

Bergamot or monarda, the plant used to flavour Earl Grey tea. Try eating a petal - they have a remarkably strong (and pleasant) flavour.

A day of pleasures - after an early half hour at the gym I did some work in the veg garden. Then enjoyed opening the box of delights I received from my friend Len, which included some sweeties from the Philippines, her home country.

After lunch I was going to do some writing, but gave up to do a bit of gardening instead. Too nice to be indoors anyway.

And this evening we enjoyed the first of the concerts from the Llangenny Flute summer school. Tonight the tutors - on Friday we'll hear the students.
