Lynette and Ianthe

A really hectic day preparing for my friend and her daughter who came to stay. They only arrived back in the UK on Saturday from Athens where Lynette has lived since leaving college in 1980. I picked them up from Yeovil station where I took a blip which I couldn't upload so they kindly stood in as my emergency blip!
Great to catch up as we don't see one another enough although we speak on the phone regularly.

J from Porlock rang me with news of her oncology appointment today - the cancer has spread but she is going to have some radiotherapy to help her but not chemotherapy. As always she was very positive but it is an awful blow as her husband has major surgery tomorrow. Difficult times.
