Glassy Sea

We've had a very full and pleasant day! Grandchildren Z (12) and B (10), and their parents E (Phil's daughter) and D (her husband) arrived late morning, and before we all headed to La Fiamma Pizza for lunch, Phil's trusty old canoe was loaded on E and D's car.

Lake Padden Park was our destination after lunch. I walked a portion of the trail around the lake and D ran around the lake twice, Phil, E, and Z went out on the lake in the canoe, and B maneuvered his mother's inflatable SUP (stand-up paddle board), as documented well in Phil's blip today.

After D and E headed for home, we had a light early supper, as Z and I had a 6:30 p.m. fused glass class at CreativiTea. It was a new craft experience for us, and very relaxing. We enjoyed it so much that we're going back on Wednesday to do some more fused glass projects!

After the class, Z and I bought some gelato to share with Phil and B at home, and then each of us settled into late evening activities. Tomorrow is a "magical mystery tour" planned by Phil -- stay tuned!
