River Avon At Chippenham

A few shots recently have featured the Avon. Here it is at the town centre in Chippenham, next to the bridge. There is a walkway and some benches so it is a popular spot for feeding the birds, and indeed this was the case with this swan and cygnets for whom pieces of bread were regularly appearing on the water.

R.I.P. Tommy Ramone (29 January 1949 – 11 July 2014), last of the original members of the Ramones (though originally as manager before taking his seat at the drumstool). Blitzkrieg Bop was the band's debut single and was primarily composed by Erdélyi Tamás (his real Hungarian name).
