Nothing is worth more

light sources

Took this just as I arrived back home today after 40 mile or so ride with the club out to Athelstaneford and home...wonderful cloud formations on way out and especially back, full and rolling and fleece white this morning over the Lammermuirs and Moorfoots and later on the way home, like a heavy grey blanket pressing down on a long thin golden band of light that sat stubbornly on the horizon...the sun started to flare and die round four thirty and this shot, with the last blush of day round the emerging moon, was taken not long afterwards. I like the different kinds of light in this picture, the warm light from inside the stone church, the bright light of the street and the fragile light of the moon...
