Water and Light

The River Thames at Richmond was especially beautiful in the bright sunlight this afternoon. Walking across the bridge, I noticed an ornate old passenger ferry moored on the water. It was only when I zoomed in that I saw the lettering on the inside of the hull. It reads 'Company of Watermen & Lightermen No. 2166'. And so I add another snippet of information to the rich and fascinating reference tool that I have named the blipwiki. I never stop learning on blip, whether it's from fellow blippers or from my own research, my curiosity piqued by something spotted in a picture.

Here are some more views of Richmond-upon-Thames this afternoon.
