Evening paddle

Another hot day, no details needed because it's the same as yesterday and the day before except even warmer.
As before we spent the day stripping paint of a door, this time the front door. We set up a shade umbrella to keep the sun at bay and since Jan did such a good job last time she painted the door it was not easy to get the paint off! But by the end of the day we'd done it. Now it needs a final sanding down and it'll get the first coat of the new paint tomorrow.
Once that was done we went of to "our" lake for a swim and once sufficiently cooled down we drove to town. Jan dropped me of at the head of one bay, Gånsviken, and I then paddled out into the sea and round to the next bay, Smitingen, which has a beautiful beach and is always full of people when the weather is like this. It was only a short paddle, about 5 km, but it felt good to be on the sea again. The sun was getting low so sometimes I paddled in the shade of the cliffs and sometimes in the sun. Round the headland the sea was choppy and broken as it always is here but the waves were so small that was no problem, other than I couldn't stop paddling to take pictures!
