A sad farewell

HMS Illustrious sailed into Portsmouth Harbour
for the last time today.
After 32 years service she will be decommissioning
in August .
She has a special place in my heart as Big was her captain a few years ago,
and I met many fascinating people through the varied official events that
we attended.
And of course there was that time when I met him in New York and he asked me to marry him....
