Fairfield Shipbuilding Offices

Today is the opening day for the Commonwealth Games and was also a 'wee doors open day' in Glasgow. A friend has been closely involved with the refurbishment of the old offices of the Fairfield Shipbuilding and Engineering Company which built some of the most famous ships to sail. It is a wonderful building and had to be preserved. This photo is taken in the old draughtsman's office - which was designed to have lots of natural light. It has been broken up into smaller offices and one is let already.
