An evening of cultural richness

Well what an evening that was! Started with the opening of artworks by Gena Ivanov and Andrew Jay, two Norwich based artists I've got to know over the last couple of years through Norwich Pride. This is a detail from one of Gena's canvases and I found this incredibly powerful. More photos from the opening can be seen here. The gallery - Stew - is a great space which is perfect for large artworks like these. The exhibition runs until Sunday 27th July.

Then it was on to 'An Evening of Trouser Wearing Characters' - a performance by the wonderful Rose Collis. If you ever get the chance to see this show don't miss it! Rose is a wonderful singer, banjolele player and raconteur.

The run-up to Norwich Pride is proving to be excellent. And tomorrow evening the choir are giving a 'micro-concert' at St Margaret's. More fun!
