Kitchen Gardens in #Nepal

Our team in Nepal works with local people to build Kitchen Gardens. Kitchen Gardens are a wonderful way of helping families to grow nutritious vegetables enabling them to feed their families and generate income.

Leafy green vegetables are full of vitamins, particularly Vitamin C and K, minerals, and disease-fighting phytochemicals. They are also rich in iron and fiber which helps to lower blood pressure. Leafy greens also contain a lot of water, which helps keep you hydrated, very important!

Extra produce can be sold locally providing the family with a means of income.
