Moth Eaten

Another back blip....

We had several moths inside the house in the morning - and this one was a partially silhouetted by the sun shining through the blind.

It seemed quite strange that it had lost quite a large part of one of its' wings and yet was still able to fly. Had a bit of bother trying to hold the camera still and parallel to the wings - so not all of it is in focus.

I have no idea what sort it is - I gave up trying to identify it using the internet! It's not quite as scary as it looks - only about 2cm from wingtip to wingtip.
