National Day of Mourning

Today is announced to be a National Day of Mourning... we have no tradition with such ~ the last Day of National Mourning was 52 years ago at the funeral of Princess Wilhelmina, who'd reigned as Hollands queen Wilhelmina 50 years including the times of WW II and WW I / the Great War

At 4 this afternoon the 2 planes landed with their cargo of 40 coffins with the remains of passengers of the tragic MH17 flight of last week Thursday.
The coffins were transported 100 kms across national roads (highways) and every bridge crossing the national roads was loaded!! with people who payed their respects to the victoms and counted themselves lucky none of their beloved ones were lost in this flight that was shot out from the sky when flying over Russia's new war field: Ukraine

identification of the bodies is what starts immediately after arrival at the location ready for this work
