A Teasel?

Len, Basil and I went to see Clive and Elaine in Uppingham this morning. Clive has been inviting me to take photos of their garden which features in the National Gardens initiative. After photography, I joined the others for coffee and conversation with chocolate croissants.

They had the croissants, which of course, I can't eat, being coeliac. But Clive had bought me wonderful Florentine biscuits as a consolation. It was so hot that the chocolate was melting on to the plate.

Len tells me this is a teasel. I took lots of photos which have been uploaded to flickr. I just quite liked this one, probably because of the bokeh and the contrast of the plant with the background.
