Visited Addingham today - to do a reccy of the start of the next Sunday Walk

In the grounds of the Parish Church - we met a delightful elderly lady - who told R and I the history of the church - and pointed out the specialist oak Mouseman furniture - which features a carving of a mouse on almost every piece - within the church - as well as the newer additions

Turns out said lady grew up on an isolated farm near to Windgate Nick (on Ilkley Moor) - the highest point on the walk - and remarked what a steep climb it is
