Quiet reflection!

We had gone into town to meet up with friends and enjoy the buzz surrounding the games. Normally we go on the train, but there had been a problem at Glasgow Central and the train from EK wasn't running so we had taken the car and parked beside Strathclyde university.

I took lots of shots of tourists and revellers, but on the way back to the car dusk was approaching. I like the serenity of this shot taken just east of George Square, behind City Chambers looking down John Street from George Street through to Cochrane Street.

Two minutes walk away the party was still going as it was a warm balmy night - almost unheard of in Glasgow.
