Can white men sing the blues?

Courtesy of the Edinburgh Jazz and Blues Festival VIP passes* we managed to catch three of today's acts at the Tron Kirk. The Fairleigh High School Big Band, Grammy winning jazz pianist Conal Fowkes, and this American bluesman Ben Prestage, who certainly can sing the blues. Great music from all of them in front of a full house every time.

My wee camera isn't really up to coping with this level of lighting and the bottle of wine didn't help the focus either. At least I managed to blip something. The focus might not be all it should be but it's certainly gritty in a boozy bluesy sort of way.
