Lotus

It's high summer at the lily pond, and the lotus flowers have begun to bloom. I stopped by in the morning and enjoyed the way the first light cast reflections of the lotus flowers - one in full bloom, one just a bud - on the water's surface. It almost looked like a silk painting made by an artist; one who really loves summer.
