After yesterday's beautiful light, today dawned rainy. In fact it rained torrentially for pretty much the whole day, which put paid to thoughts of watching a pleasant game of village cricket.

Still, we had a nice lunch at a local pub, then retired for rest.

Just as we were sitting down for dinner, this little lad was marching about on the lawn with a friend.
