Tentative

We're staying with friends in Hastings and the girls are in the garden, camping in these tents that AlfeeTee rescued for them from the battlefields of Glastonbury.

They've been excited about this for weeks but the reality is that they haven't had separate tents before or slept without us. Big steps. We'll see if either or both of them manage the night. I wouldn't blame them if they didn't - they're very brave. All is quiet so far.

Amazingly they didn't ask for midnight snacks; just went to bed happily with glowing lights made from torches inside milk cartons (random internet idea) and a good book each.

Night night,
Sleep tight.
Don't the bed bugs bite
Or the resident badger
Or the local foxes
Or the innumerable mozis

Eek.
