Blue Tit

Enjoyed a pleasant intermittently sunny afternoon sitting out near the bird feeder with my new camera on the tripod and my maximum lens combo on (400mm).shooting garden birds. There’s a fairly good selection at this time of year great Tits, Dunnocks, Yellow Finches but I particularly liked this juvenile BlueTit perched in one of the fir tree as I thought the colour combinations worked well. It’s amazing just how close to the bird feeder you can sit without any camouflage ( maybe 3 metres ) if you are prepared to stay put for a while.
