Ladybuy Rescue?

I let this ladybug crawl onto the stick to escape a watery grave in my cat's outside water dish. She seemed happy and active at first and she moved REALLY fast! She tried once or twice to spread wings and fly, but couldn't and after a bit, she just stopped moving at all....I was hoping for a happier ending, but they don't always happen, do they?
