Poor Grandad has had a good soaking today with the hosepipe which was meant to be filling the pool. We bought that pool at a Woolworths closing down sale years ago and forgot we had it. Instructions said it would take 2-3 people 10 minutes to fill. Errrr. Perhaps if they each had their own water supply on a fire engine or something. 4 hours later and it's getting almost near full.

Had a lovely lunch out with Mum, sitting in the sunshine this afternoon.
Children were really well behaved, colouring in pictures with great concentration (and neatly!) while we waited for food and watching the tractor baling hay on the hillside.
