On the pier

After a good night at the funny farm we went to Clacton on Sea for the day anticipating a chilled out day on the beach...except when we arrived the tide was very much in! Oops! We then went a bit crazy and bought wristbands for the rides on the pier! It helped that we had picked up vouchers from the station! I screamed and laughed and cried on the first ride!!! We have never been on any rides together, this will remain a strong and hysterical memory! Another first was just wandering along to a quieter area of the beach and just laying and reading, I guess this is sunbathing, not my usual activity!


Our day ended with a visit to the cheap cinema (£2.50!!) for planet of the apes which was very good, incredible cgi. Got home and was fast asleep by ten!
