Small Tortoiseshell Butterfly

Woke up to this Butterfly flitting around my bedroom. He eventually settled on the net curtain. By that time I was sufficiently awake to to grab my camera and shoot. Then he escaped through the open window!

Good start to another sunny day! By the way, my curtains are not ragged - that's just the frame I gave to the image because it looked a bit boring otherwise.
