Norwich

We had a lovely day out in Norwich. The weather wasn’t very promising, but it brightened up by the afternoon.

We had a lovely walk along the River Wensum, where we saw the only remaining swan pit in the UK – who knew there was such a thing. We visited two magnificent cathedrals, wandered round town, had some lunch and spent a long time in the book shop where we left with our hands full and our wallets empty, went to the park (where BB played while we sat in the sun) and visited an interesting (and peaceful) Victorian Garden in the centre of Norwich.

We rounded off our busy day with pizza for tea – much to BB’s delight!

The labyrinth in the cloister of Norwich Cathedral is symbolic of a spiritual journey. BB viewed it as a running track! Here he is racing TT – thankfully there weren’t many other visitors around at the time.
