Scotland : Rugby Sevens at Half Time

A brilliant night at Ibrox, near capacity crowd for the Rugby Sevens at the Commonwealth Games. A lot of fun singing along, and best of all encouraging the teams that weren't doing so well. Uganda got a great roar, even though they lost. Had to laugh at the Kiss, Bongo and Air Guitar Cams.

Our journey there was a wee bit stressful. Huge queues to get on the Underground at Buchanan Street, and once on the platform, we were seriously wedged into the Clockwork Orange. Once in the open air again, the Clydesiders and Police couldn't have been more helpful. Special moment was emerging from the airport-type security check to have our tickets checked by our Sister in Law who is Clydesiding. What are the chances - she said about 45,000/1!

This was taken at half time during the Scotland v Canada match, which Scotland went on to win 21 - 5. Just had to get another Big G into my Journal.

Only small complaint, the venue hadn't thought about facilitating "The Ladies". The queues were rather long, and I missed a whole match.

The queues back on the Underground were even longer, so we headed for a shuttle bus back to Buchanan Street. Again, directions and help couldn't have been better. Well done Glasgow 2014.
