Cucumber magic

To think that only a few short weeks ago these were two small cucumber plants that I unceremoniously planted out in the container without hardening them off. There were 3 but one understandably perished but the other two have gone from strength to strength.

With these two, that will make 4 to date, with many more to come. I think the regular watering from the automatic system has made the difference. They're getting a measured amount twice a day, not just when we think about it.

A good session at the gym and pleased to find that despite all the eating last week in the Lakes I'd lost weight from the previous session. How can this be?

Spent the afternoon working on the prison contract before the usual, traditional omlet and salad tea (with chocolate to follow with a cup of tea).
