Grumpy Old Man

My favourite

Took several pictures this afternoon, but none of them were very good for some reason. This is one of the best and even this had slightly yellowish foliage colour which I had to modify, partially successfully.

Anyway, this is the Blip of the day - Hydrangea macrophylla 'Ayesha', which has strangely thick florets rather like sugar flowers. The flowers last longer as a result. According to Hillier's Manual, 'A distinct and unusual hydrangea of puzzling origin.' If they don't know, then I'm sure I don't!
