Newby Hall

Visited Newby Hall today - another gorgeous day - this summer holiday is shaping up prettttty well! The tour round the house was great, truly a house you could imagine living in (if you had delusions of grandeur like what I do) but the really impressive stuff is outside in the stunning gardens, tended by a mere 6 gardeners. While we were chatting to the gardener in the autumn garden, my dad spotted this wee creature eating the seeds on the salvia. He stuck around long enough for me to fumble a photo or two.
