A shiner

Aidan, sporting a big shiner of a black eye. After getting out the bath last night, he slipped on the bathroom floor and gave his eye a pretty good whack - it was up like a golf ball, even with icing with a bag of frozen peas! It had calmed down a bit before he went to bed, but was purple this morning and even more so this evening!

It's not been a good week for him, what with banging heads with one of his friends in a trampoline last weekend, getting hit in the face with a wooden toy at nursery (by one of his friends being an overenthusiastic 'Spiderman') and then this - hopefully the next week is a little less eventful!
