Our Home away from Home

Sugar and I were up early.......and busy as little bees. We had to do a final gathering of STUFF, and feed alllllllll the animals before our departure. Then we had to do a few errands on the way out of town, but we finally arrived at camp by 11:30am. It was already 91 degrees out. WHEW....setting up camp in that sort of heat was not all together fun, but we managed. We were the first to arrive, so we were the first to try out the new tree fort my dad constructed for the girls. He had worked hard on it all week so it would be ready. Sugar was super excited to check it out. You have to CLICK HERE to see it all....and get perspective. It is fabulous. Such a fun place to hang out, have meals, and play board games.

The rest of the camping gang showed up while Sugar and I were down at the river trying to cool off. Goodness it was so hot. There was much excitement in the air. The camping trip we'd been waiting for was finally here. JOY!
