Flying into Lisbon

Ever since I was healed of my long-held fear of flying, I revel in looking out the window - the beauty of England's green fields; the glory of sunshine golden on the sea; and the views of Lisbon as we circled into the evening.

The bridge in the foreground is the 25 de Abril bridge; the statue above it is the Cristo Rei statue, inspired by the Cristo Redentor in Rio - it's on the other side of the river from Lisbon proper.
