All the water from yesterday has drained off and there is little evidence of damage in most areas of the garden. Only one small section will need replanting.

Sewing group this afternoon. Whilst nimble fingers were productive, most of the discussion was about yesterday’s storm and damage. The village made the National and local TV news reports!!

We were expecting delivery of the racking for the garage, but it hasn’t arrived. A wasted day for B, who was geared up to get assembling and the stuff of the damp garage floor!!!
