Dried out Nigella!

Despite having to look after Mckenzie, we still managed to get some major pruning done. Luckily he had a long afternoon nap, which helped.

I now have two fairly large areas that need filling. I love large leaved hostas but the snails are partial to them too, so the two that I do have, have been decimated. This evening I sat in a chair beside one of them and I'm certain I could hear a slow 'munch, munch, munch'.

Tomorrow I have the two young boys to look after all day. I think I'll be a basket case by 5pm!!
