Aulis Lintunen

Today when I went out for a blip walk heading towards the woods, I bumped into this lovely gentleman. His name is Aulis Lintunen and he is 85 years old.

Aulis was just back from his cross country skiing round in Espoon keskuspuisto. I asked him how many kilometers he skied and he said to me: "Today only 10 kilometers". Only 10 kilometers in that age. Or any age. Aulis told me that he has been skiing since he got his first pair of skis at the age of 6.

I was very happy that I got to photograph Aulis. So we went our own ways, Aulis home, and I went to the woods. I had a lovely feeling walking in the beautiful woods, which I also photographed, but today there was no doubt about which photo should me my blip.
