Grandchildren on the "pancake!"

All the rocks in the Long Island Sound on Reeves Beach have names such as the whale, the loaf, the pancake. At high tide the kids play on the pancake. It is very mossy and slippery and they have a ball trying to stay on especially when there are waves. They dive/jump off the whale at high tide. And they try to climb the loaf at high tide but there are barnacles and it is very high up. There is another rock on the sandbar that is accessible at low tide. The boys marked it with lobster pots so the kids can easily find it! They have great fun playing on our beach!
