Today’s the day ................ to change colour

We’re here in Northern Ireland for a few days with my brother Ron and sister-in-law Margaret.

As we drove from Belfast to where we will stay on the north Antrim coast, we couldn’t help noticing that there were lots of bikes in evidence. A bit like there was in Yorkshire for the Tour de France – except that this time they were all pink. They were, of course, a result of the fact that the first few stages of the 2014 Tour of Italy (Giro d'Italia) which took place from 9th May till 01 June went through this bit of Ireland.

This was one of the most imaginative locations for one of them – on a rocky platform just off the shore ...........
