Disused Water Wheel - Derelict Mill

On a walk from Mytholmroyd alongside Elphin Brook up to the Hinchliffe Arms for lunch - came across this disused water wheel.
Cragg Vale had a more than adequate supply of water which was used to power the mills dotted along the valley. The water was also used in the various manufacturing processes (textiles & paper).
At one time there were 11 mills in a 3 mile stretch. This water wheel belonged to the Paper Mill - now long gone.
