Seaton Delaval Hall

Much of the fabric of this National Trust property is in a bad state but it is being conserved or restored and will be great when it's fully open. For the moment, most of it is behind scaffolding and the stable building is the most impressive part we saw.

A date above the door shows it was built in 1732 - part of the Sir John Vanbrugh design - and the names of the horses are still above the stalls.
