Little Green Apples

This is the old cider mill at the village of Walcote , which is on my regular run route.
It is thought to have been in operation by 1800 and was last used to make cider in 1947.
Apparently the house was sold in1961 for £4500, which was thought to be an enormous amount of money then. It's changed hands a few times since then I think.
There is still a cider making tradition in the area, Hogan's cider was originally started as a cottage industry just down the road, is now a big business, and is widely available.
