Thumbs up

Well they're back. I was taking this rather interesting shot of a poster and shop window when I was photobombed by this Korean woman. If you believe that then you'll believe anything and for the next month or so in Edinburgh there will be sights that stretch the suspension of your disbelief.

The pretty lady is part of the Korean performing arts group Norian Maro and, according to the handy flyer she happened to have with her, the group features "traditional and contemporary drumming, singing, dancing and movements." If the costumes are anything to go by then it might be worth a viewing. Although the invitation to "Join us for this joyful celebration of life" sounds a bit off-putting if you ask me.

I wonder if the thumbs up is a traditional Korean gesture of approval? Possibly not in the North.

Song.
